Sports Inc is a New Zealand based sports television production and events company.
Founded in 2002 by Kelsen Butler and Phillip Leishman the company enjoys an international reputation for the range of its quality sports programming seen on a weekly basis in 120 countries around the world as well as for its ability to create and manage inspiring events.
Sports Inc is passionate about sport. The company has had success in translating this passion into business success with a range of highly acclaimed international television productions covering sports such as golf, rugby, rugby league and Olympic programming. Sports Inc's broadcast partners are many of the world's most respected networks; ESPN Star Sport (Asia), Supersport (South Africa), Fox Sports (Middle East), The Golf Channel (Latin America), Fox Sports (Australia),Sky Sport and TV3 (New Zealand). International brands that have benefitted by associating with Sports Inc's programming include HSBC, Chevron, UBS, adidas, Visa, Nike, ING and GE.
In addition the company's event management division has created and managed projects for global brands throughout the Asia-Pacific. They include the Caltex Celebrity Cup; a Ryder Cup style celebrity golf event with sports stars from the USA, Asia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and England, a Geri Halliwell concert in Singapore, and a Muhammad Ali Photo Exhibition with legendary sports photographer Neil Leifer.
